Linka

Frequently asked questions

How Linka works — accounts, lessons, payment and refunds.

How to register?+

1. Open the Linka app and go to sign-in / registration. 2. Enter your phone number in international format (E.164), for example +998901234567. 3. Choose Student as your account type when you request the verification code. 4. Enter the one-time code (OTP) sent to your number. If the code expires, request a new one. 5. After verification you are logged in and receive access tokens. Complete your student profile in the app (name, photo, and other fields) when prompted.

How to become a tutor?+

1. Start registration in the Linka app and enter your phone number in international format. 2. When you request the verification code, select Tutor (not Student) so your account is created as a teacher account. 3. Verify your number with the OTP. 4. Complete your tutor profile in the app: your name, IELTS scores, experience, lesson prices, profile photo, certificate, and any other required fields. Your profile must meet the app’s requirements before you can teach. 5. After your profile is set up, students can find you and book lessons according to your availability.

How to cancel a class?+

1. Sign in to the app and open your bookings or schedule (where your upcoming lessons are listed). 2. Select the lesson (booking) you want to cancel. 3. Use the Cancel action for that booking. You can cancel only if you are a participant (student or tutor for that lesson). 4. Cancellation is allowed while the booking status is pending, confirmed, or paid. You cannot cancel a lesson that is already finished or cancelled. 5. The app may let you add an optional reason when you cancel. If something goes wrong, contact support through the channels shown in the app.

How to leave a review?+

1. Sign in as a student. Reviews are written by students about their tutors. 2. Open the flow in the app where you leave feedback for a tutor—often from the tutor’s profile, your completed lesson, or a Reviews section (wording may vary by app version). 3. Choose the tutor and write your review text (your honest comment about the lesson or the tutor). 4. Submit the review. You can usually see your own reviews under something like My reviews in the app. 5. Keep comments respectful and relevant. For account or payment issues, use support instead of only leaving a review.
